City Clerk

The City Clerk serves as a vital link between the City Council and Nerstrand residents. The Clerk's Office provides essential clerical, record-keeping, and administrative support to the City Council, and plays a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of local government in accordance with city policy and law.

Primary Responsibilities of the City Clerk Include:

  • Managing requests to address the City Council

  • Preparing and distributing Council meeting agendas and related materials

  • Recording, maintaining, and submitting official Council meeting minutes

  • Organizing and preserving city records and documentation

  • Processing utility billing

  • Reviewing permit applications

Office Hours:

  • Wednesday: 9:30 AM – 11:30 AM

  • Thursday: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
