REQUEST FOR LAWN MOWING AND WEED WHIPPING BIDS
CITY OF NERSTRAND
The City of Nerstrand is accepting bids for lawn mowing and weed whipping services for a three-year contract.
Services will generally begin in May and continue through October, weather permitting. Mowing is typically required once per week, on Thursdays or Fridays, to ensure grounds are maintained for weekend use.
The selected contractor will be responsible for mowing/weed whipping designated City properties and performing standard trimming as needed. Contractors must provide their own equipment and be adequately insured.
Interested parties should submit a written bid that includes:
- Proposed cost per mowing/weed whipping or per season
- Description of equipment to be used
- Proof of insurance
- Contact information

We will also accept bids in the drop box at city hall and by email.
The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
